Many different types of care are offered by healthcare institutions. In the type of care where clients can live (almost) independently, permanent presence of care staff is not always necessary. It is nice if you can quickly contact a healthcare worker in the event of an emergency.

The solution
Using a camera system in an unusual way
The IDIS Video Intercom is used to quickly get in touch with a healthcare worker. By simply pressing the button, a connection is made and the request for help can be asked.
The care worker receives a push notification after which a video connection can be opened. This allows the situation to be assessed immediately and the appropriate action to be taken.
A video intercom has been placed in a central location in each care home. These video intercoms are linked to the camera system that can be accessed remotely.
If desired, the camera images can be saved and the employee has the option to receive the live image from the other cameras.
All this can be done easily via one and the same IDIS Mobile Plus app.

The new camera system gives clients independence, while they can quickly come into contact with a care worker (when necessary).
This method also ensures better deployment of healthcare workers. Because they do not have to be permanently present on site, they can be deployed more widely and more efficiently.
