This privacy policy is applicable to IDIS Synergy BV. You shouldbe aware that IDIS Synergy BV is not responsible for the privacy policy of other sites and sources.

While this Privacy Policy applies to all our Services, we also have provided certain specific privacy supplements that contain additional information about our practices in connection with particular Services. These supplements apply to your use of the Services they cover. Additional consent will be obtained for certain data processing activities.

Privacy policies can be complicated. We have tried to make ours as clear and as accessible as possible. These principles demonstrate our commitment to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in the right way and as you would expect it to be handled.

• What personal information do we collect?

We are not interested in collecting every personal detail about you. Our main reason for collecting your personal information is to provide and improve the service, products and experiences that you and our customers expect from us.

We collect and handle information from all visitors to our websites, whether you actively provide us with that information or merely browse our websites. The information we collect includes the internet protocol (IP) address of the device you are using, the browser software you use, your operating system, the date and time of access, the internet address of the website from which you link through to our website and information on how you use our websites.

The information collected by Google Analytics is as anonymous as possible. Your IP address is not expressly provided. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google adheres to the Safe Harbor principles and affiliates with the US Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor Program. This implies that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

We use this information so that we can see how long our websites take to load, how they are used, the number of visitors to the different sections of our websites, and what information visitors look at most.

Google Analytics
Via our website, a cookie is placed from the US company Google, as part of the “Analytics service”. We use this service to keep track of and report on how visitors use the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is required to do so by law, or in so far as third parties process information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the analytics information obtained for other Google Services.

Social media
On our website, social share buttons are included to promote web pages or share the info on social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+. These social share buttons work through pieces of code that come from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and/or Google+. Cookies are placed through this code. We do not have any influence on that. Read the Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ privacy statements (which may change regularly) to find out what they do with your (personal) data which is processed through these cookies.

We collect information about how you engage with our email newsletters; including whether they are delivered to you, whether you open them, whether you choose to learn more about what’s happening at IDIS (for example, by clicking on a link in our e-mail) and if you ask us not to contact you anymore (by clicking on the unsubscribe option included in all our e-mail correspondence).

Third parties who provide services on our behalf
We share your personal information with certain third parties who provide services on our behalf. They are data processors and their processing activities are in accordance with data processing contracts to ensure that the processing they undertake is under IDIS’s direction and control.

We may provide links to other websites which are not operated and controlled by IDIS. We have no control over and are not responsible for the content of those sites or how the third parties responsible for them collect and use your personal information. • How long do we keep your personal information?

We will not keep your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose it was collected. This means that data will be destroyed or erased from our systems when it is no longer required.
We take appropriate steps to ensure that we process and retain information about you based on the following logic:

We are committed to protecting your personal information. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption, to protect your personal information and privacy, and review those regularly. We protect your personal information using a combination of physical and IT security controls, including access controls that restrict and manage the way in which your personal information and data is processed, managed and handled. We also ensure that our staff are adequately trained in protecting your personal information. Our procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we share your personal information with you.

In the unlikely event that we do suffer a security breach which compromises our protection of your personal information and we need to let you know about it, we will do so.

• Keeping your information secure

We take protection of your data seriously, and have put in place appropriate physical and technical measures to safeguard the information we collect in connection with the Services. However, please note that although we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no website, Internet transmission, computer system, or wireless connection is completely secure.

INTERNATIONAL transfer of data

• Changes to this privacy policy

We will review and update this privacy policy at least once a year and will note the date it was last updated below.

Any changes to this Privacy Policy will take effect from posting on the IDIS website. Customers are required to check the website on a regular basis to ensure they are aware of the latest version of the Privacy Policy.

We will never change our policies and practices in a way that will offer less protection for personal information that we already have about you without your consent.
